This Privacy Policy (this “Policy”) discloses how Sherman Samuels Investing LLC (“SSI”) collects, uses, stores, and shares information you may provide or which may be collected when accessing the Site or using the Services. You acknowledge and agree that this Policy is intended to be read and interpreted together with the Terms of Use. Any capitalized words or phrases used in this Policy that are not defined will have the meanings set out in the Terms of Use. 

Personal Data That May Be Collected.

  1. Identifying Information. We collect certain personally identifiable information (“Personal Data”) from you when you voluntarily provide it to us. For example, when you register for an account to access the Services, SSI will collect your username, password, or email address. We may also collect your first and last name. By using the Services you acknowledge that SSI may request additional information from time to time as needed to establish and maintain your account, provide you with new features, or communicate with you regarding your use of the Services.
  2. Lost or Stolen Information. You should promptly notify SSI if your password or other account login information is lost or stolen.

The Site or Services may contain links and pointers to other sites on the internet which may be maintained by third parties. Please read the privacy notices for those third-party sites carefully. SSI is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party sites.

How We Use Your Personal Data.

SSI uses your Personal Data to:

We do not control the data security or privacy practices of our third-party service providers. You are solely responsible for reviewing and complying with the privacy policies and terms of use of such third-party services. We disclaim all response ability and liability for use of any third-party services. You understand and agree that you access and use the third-party services at your own risk.

Technical Data That May Be Collected.

  1. Use of Cookies. SSI, or its third-party vendors, may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track user activity on the Site. A cookie is an alphanumeric identifier that the Site sends to your browser and is stored on your device. Cookies identify your device, but not you. Cookies may be sent by SSI or its third-party vendors. You can set your browser to notify you before a cookie is received, giving you an opportunity to decide whether to accept the cookie. You may also set your browser to turn off cookies; however, the Site and any Services provided through the Site may not work properly as a result.
  2. Collection of Non-Identifiable Information. Cookies are used to collect technical information about your visit to the Site. For example, the type of device (and its unique device identifier) you use to access the Site, the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your device to the Internet, browser type and version, time zone setting, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system, mobile network information and platform.

Information Security.

  1. Electronic Storage. SSI will store your data electronically in secure servers located in the United States.
  2. Disclaimer.  While SSI will make every reasonable effort to safeguard your Personal Data, transmission of any information or content over the internet (including Personal Data) is not entirely secure. Despite the use of industry-standard security technology and human safeguards, absolute security cannot be guaranteed. You acknowledge and agree SSI will not be held liable for any unauthorized disclosure of Personal Data, including, but not limited to, errors in transmission and unauthorized actions by SSI staff or third parties.

Privacy Policy Changes and Opt-Out Rights.

  1. Changes to Privacy Policy. This Policy was last updated on “Last Updated Date” set out above. SSI reserves the right to update this Policy at any time subject to your acceptance as set out in the Terms of Use. 
  2. Opt-Out Right. You have the right at any time to cease permitting personal information to be collected, used or disclosed by SSI and/or by any third parties with whom SSI has shared and/or transferred such personal information. Your right of cancellation may be exercised by contacting SSI. After processing the cancellation, SSIwill delete your Personal Data; except, that, we may retain certain information required to comply with applicable laws or to fulfill our contractual obligations; such information will be deleted in accordance with our ordinary data retention procedures. By exercising the opt out right provided by this paragraph, you may not be able to access the Site or use the Services and your account may be deactivated or rendered inaccessible.

Access Rights to Data.

  1. Information Maintained by SSI. Upon your request, SSI will provide a reasonable description of the Personal Data maintained by SSI. 
  2. Corrections and Changes to Personal Data. SSI will correct or change any Personal Data upon your written request.
